SUMMARY:2019 Holiday Basketball Shootout
DESCRIPTION:1ST SUMMIT ARENA @ Cambria County War Memorial is excited to bring basketball back to the arena! Barlow\, known as The British Bulldog\, is a seven-time world champion racer and owner of XIIR who lives in the St. Louis area. \nThe rush of so much power and speed on a surface as unpredictable as ice has whipped audiences into a frenzy and gained new fans across the country. Fans aren’t fooled by the appearance of the speedway bikes competing in this race. They are more than just mountain bikes with engines. DESCRIPTION:This annual event is a showcase of what our downtown businesses have to offer the Greater Johnstown community. From the delicious restaurants and thirst-quenching bars\, to the destination shopping and specialty retail stores\, all open their doors on a Saturday night and proudly showcase the great variety that Downtown Johnstown has to offer. \nHow the event works:\nTickets are sold to event participants at $30 per person. Tickets can be purchased online through Eventbrite. https://www.eventbrite.com/e/taste-tour-2018-rediscover-downtown-johnstown-tickets-44121075324  A limited number of tickets will be sold.\n• The tour begins at the Holiday Inn (250 Market Street\, Johnstown\, PA 15901). This is where all participants will check in and pick up their lanyard and map.\n• The first participants to check in at the Holiday Inn will receive a free event t-shirt. Limited quantity available\, first come\, first serve!\n• Each participant will have access to the specials and samples each venue has to offer which will best exemplify their business.\n• Participants will need to visit a specific number of businesses on the tour to be eligible for the grand prize\, The Ultimate Downtown Experience Basket\, including many gift cards for local Downtown establishments.\n• Participants will vote for their favorite businesses: (Best Atmosphere\, Appetizer\, Drink Special\, Best Hidden Gem\, and Overall Experience). \nFREE Shuttle services will be provided by McIlwain Charters\, Inc. & Designated Driver LLC.  Allowing attendees to visit even more amazing venues in historic downtown Johnstown. \nAll proceeds will be used to implement Downtown Johnstown beautification and promotion activities.
