A Charlie Brown Christmas – Live On Stage!

Peanuts’ timeless holiday television special comes to life on stage with the national tour of A Charlie Brown Christmas Live On Stage (www.acharliebrownchristmaslive.com), coming to the Pasquerilla Performing Arts Center on the Pitt-Johnstown campus Saturday, November 30.

The critically acclaimed holiday celebration for the whole family brings Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus, and the rest of the Peanuts gang together live on stage as they uncover the true meaning of Christmas and perform songs from the unforgettable musical score in a tribute to the legendary composer Vince Guaraldi. The Broadway-style production comes complete with immersive sets, lighting, choreography, and colorful costumes — selling more than 300,000 tickets to date in markets across the country.

Peanuts is among the most popular and influential brands in the world, and Schulz’s Emmy and Peabody award-winning story has been a longstanding tradition, warming the hearts of millions of fans since it first aired on television almost 60 years ago. A Charlie Brown Christmas Live On Stage encompasses each of your favorite scenes from the original animated television show, with more fun, more music, and more finding the true Christmas spirit. After the final bow, the show crescendos into a celebration of holiday music as the Peanuts gang sings traditional Christmas songs and carols. The show is 90 minutes including intermission.

Tickets range from $39.75 to $79.75, including fees, and a limited number of families can take part in a special VIP post-show meet & greet with members of the Peanuts gang.  VIP Packages are $119.75 and $129.75, and include premium seating, a personal photograph with the Peanuts gang, and commemorative laminate & lanyard.  All children taking part in the VIP Meet & Greet Package must be accompanied by an adult who also has a VIP Meet & Greet Package ticket.   An additional $3 facility fee will be applied to all tickets, and additional fees will apply for online purchases.  Children ages 0-12 months do not require a ticket if they will be sitting on a parent or guardian’s lap.

The Johnstown performance is presented by the Pasquerilla Performing Arts Center in partnership with 1^ST SUMMIT ARENA and Drusky Entertainment.
