Saturday, July 16
Rocket League Tournament | 9 AM- 3 PM |
This is an open tournament for anyone, featuring 2 different brackets each with a 16 team capacity. Each bracket is single elimination. The two brackets are divided by skill level. The first bracket is champ 1 and lower, and the second is champ 2 and higher. The rules can be found here. Entry into the tournament includes all-access to Saturday’s event. The Champ 1 and lower bracket will begin at 9:00 AM, and the Champ 2 and higher bracket will begin at 12:00 PM. The following equipment will be provided: 32 Gaming PCs (i9, 3060 Graphics Card, and 16GB ram); 27 inch 144hz Samsung Odyssey monitors; 32 mice and keyboard. Laurel Highlands Education and Robotics, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(C)3 public charity whose vision is to inspire others and ignite a passion in our community to invest in local youth and tomorrow’s technology workforce. There will a demo of the robots in action. | |
Main Event – $10,000 Showcase | 5 PM – 9 PM |
This showcase will feature the best high school players in The Esport Company’s High School League. Students will be competing for their share of $10,000 CASH. |
Sunday, July 17
Esports Combine | 12 PM- 5 PM |
College scouts will be coming from across the east coast to recruit the best high school Esport players. This event is open to any high school Esport player going into their junior or senior year of high school and looking for a chance at a collegiate scholarship. Students will competing in Rocket League and Valorant, in an individual drill format. Almost like a gauntlet, but better. Students from participating schools in the TEC High School League compete for free. An additional $1,000 in prizes will be awarded to the top performers. |
